let's say a person is holding nothing but synthetic shares and then ape drops ... that person isn't going to get the shares. so does that mean that person loses half of their actual position??

when this day comes for the ape stock to be delivered. if you don't get it after a few days. During that time the price of ape and AMC will be going high. when people sell it for what ever price they want. you will get ape stock when it settles after some sales it. AMC plus ape is Amc1. it can't be without the other.

So if own 1000 shares only receive 200 ape then broker has to buy in open Market to cover well they really won't have that option if retail ape army doesn't sell Ape. There is no reason to belive the brokers won't just show a number in your account to make you think there is 1000 ape in your acct either.
