Do you think there is a "best day" of the week to trade?
Hi, mooers! What a long week, huh? How was your first week of August? It's likely that you spent your week riding an emotional roller coaster. You're up. You're down. And you're soon up again. We all have good days and bad days. As long as your mood changes are not extreme, they're generally considered healthy. However, you should be cautious if you are experiencing a mood swing, which is a sudden or intense change in your emotional state. According to a survey[1], this kind of mood swing is pretty normal. You will probably feel more negative on Mondays and more positive on Saturdays. Our energy levels may be different during the week. In this case, it is very important to manage your energy. Do you tend to make more moves on energetic Mondays and trade less on Fridays when you feel exhausted? Similarly, the stock market is experiencing mood swings. Some traders believe that certain days offer better returns than others systematically.
In this topic, you may share: ● How do you manage your weekly trading? ● Which day of the week do you prefer to invest? ● Will you make more moves on a certain day? Why? ● Do you believe that there are certain days that offer better returns than others? Join the discussion and win rewards!

Mood swings? I never thought of that. I only know that I should seize the opportunity when it comes. However, you are right. Nervous or impatient emotions may let me seize the wrong opportunity.

Lately stocks are trading according to the Fed, inflation, interest rate hikes and earnings. Maybe in the past you could catch a pattern but the stock market has be really weird and unpredictable as of late.

I do think there is, doesn't mean there is. I think it's mostly a mind thing. I put it in the pregame ritual category, a lot of sports players do. chances are without doing then they will still get the outcome they wanted. The human brain has power or capabilities that are unbelievable. If I were to believe that on a given day was a better day, because it seems like every Monday I do better. Even when it could be down but better than others, my mind would think or justify it.
