Disney + to increase the price of ad-free membership services by raising prices

With the release of Disney's second quarter results, Disney+ has also announced that it will be adding advertising content from 8 December and will increase the price of its existing ad-free membership service.
Although Disney had previously announced that it would add ads to its streaming service to reduce costs, most users speculated that Disney would offer cheaper memberships at the expense of lower prices to attract more subscribers.
But when you compare it to its competitors, Disney+ is not really expensive. Even after the price increase, Disney+ is only $10.99 per month for an ad-free membership and $7.99 per month for an ad-based membership. Netflix, which is currently the most influential international service, costs $9.99 per month for the basic version, $15.49 for the standard version, and $19.99 for the most premium membership. Universal's HBO MAX costs $14.99 per month, and Amazon's Prime membership is also $14.99 per month.
Compared to several of the mainstream streaming video services, Disney+ can be considered quite cheap. $Disney (DIS.US)$ $Netflix (NFLX.US)$ $Amazon (AMZN.US)$
