Will73 : AMC Entertainment (AMC) plans to complete a stock dividend on August 22, 2022. All holders of AMC will receive 1 share of AMC Entertainment Preferred Equity Units (APE) for every AMC share held at the close of trading on August 19th, 2022.

whatever number of AMC you have at closing today, the 15th, that's how many APE shares you will get. correct me if I'm wrong

102216581 : Yup. From what I know the record date is 15/8 and u will receive the APE shares on 22/8. I also find it confusing as there is different saying on this

doctorpot1 102216581 : just need to focus on ex date. that is the critical date. that date tells you if you will get the dividend or not. if you have shares before ex div date and hold till ex div date, you have the dividend.
