Alumina Problems
$RUSAL (00486.HK)$ o.k. I get it now. They just don't have access to enough alumina so at least some of the aluminum production will likely have to be shut at some point in time. They'll be lucky to be operating at breakeven on aluminum 2nd half of year although I imagine Norilsk Nickel will be o.k. Share price seems reasonable all things considered as war will end someday.

Ukraine plant was just nationalized (and was shut anyway). Australia sanctioned them. Maybe they could ramp in Jamaica but it wouldn't be easy and would take time and wouldn't replace lost supply anyway.
