Sorry, need to make some corrections to my earlier statements. You are right that there is no pre-market for SGX. However before trading begins, there is a time period (8.30-8.58am) for putting in new orders as well as to cancel and edit existing orders so that bid for 100 shares may or may not still be there.
What I was thinking of was married trades. When married trades (large-size private deals so usually between institutional investors but can also involve individuals) take place after hours, these must be reported within 20 mins of the opening routine (8.30am) on the next trading day. However they will not affect the stock price as the transactions took place off the exchange.
