EV Race? Or team effort?
Obviously all of the EV companies are in competition with each other, but when it comes down to it, the people of Earth do not need it to be a race. We need it to become a team effort by multiple different vehicle manufacturers. Bloomberg estimated that by 2040, EV sales globally will reach 66 million PER YEAR. $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ ‘s 1.9 million cars delivered last year equates to only 2.6% of that projection. We are still in the infant stages for global EV production. Let’s have multiple companies like $NIO Inc (NIO.US)$, $XPeng (XPEV.US)$, $Lucid Group (LCID.US)$, $Rivian Automotive (RIVN.US)$ , $Polestar Automotive (PSNY.US)$, $Canoo (GOEV.US)$, $Hyliion (HYLN.US)$ $Proterra (PTRA.US)$, and all of the exisiting vehicle manufacturers like $Ford Motor (F.US)$, $General Motors (GM.US)$, $Honda Motor (HMC.US)$, $HYUNDAI MOTOR CO GDR EACH REP 1/2 PFD N/VTG(REG'S')(CIT) (HYMTF.US)$, $MERCEDES-BENZ GROUP AG (DDAIF.US)$, $Subaru (ADR) (FUJHY.US)$, $NISSAN MOTOR CO (NSANF.US)$, $Toyota Motor (TM.US)$, $VOLKSWAGEN AG (VLKAF.US)$, and $VOLVO(AB) (VOLVF.US)$ rise to the challenge of creating safe, clean, efficient electric vehicles for all of mankind. In my mind, there is no “war of EV makers.” They are ALL winning the war against zero emissions that polute our atmosphere. Follow me for more of my insight! #wholeloaf

Racehorse : You hit the nail on the head Stock Moe!!
philosophical finger : EV are a win for all
Wacho-el-Wero : Team $Lucid Group (LCID.US)$ fam
friendly Moose_1647 : The problem I found with electric cars, is that you are in hand of the manufacturer. With a gasoline car, after ten years, I spend 3000$ in suspension and transmission, and I am ready until the motor die. EV is: model S 12 to 15 k. So they don't have a used vehicle market. I can buy Tesla Model S with less than 40k miles for 20k.
So, for me, the future is hydrogen cell, not batteries.
