Being free of student debt
Being free of student debt within one year after graduation is one of my finanicial milestone.
Prior graduation, I reminded myself not to put off repaying my student loan for too long! A higher debt-to-income ratio could make it harder for me to secure other loans in the future when I need them. I will also accrue late interest on outstanding amounts, and should never underestimate the power of compound interest.
