Energy Play?
okay so here's what I was thinking:
The Energy Crisis in Europe, Biden releasing millions of barrels of petroleum from our Nation Strategic Petroleum Reserve (which is not sustainable and WILL HAVE TO STOP AT SOME POINT), Winter is Coming and Gas is very Cyclical (meaning it follows a cycle or trend) and it always goes up for the winter time due to I created demand to heat homes and businesses, Russian Ukraine war and Putin stating he is cutting off the Nord Stream 1 pipeline to NATO Countries, But more importantly Putin is know for and has already done in invasions in the past and is likely to use that leverage in the Ukraine war this Winter....
ALL OF THIS SUGGESTS OIL AND GAS ARE GOING TO SKYROCKET THIS WINTER, IMO
OPPORTUNITY!?:
I am thinking that some call options on Gas and oil companies in America could be a great play. but I'm not sure how to play it...
do I act now, Tie up my money (at least half) and wait for the explosion of prices?
or do I wait until News starts to break, join them even though the prices will be somewhat higher, but be able to use the money I have for other plays until then , hoping they create more money instead of less which is a toss up with me still ....
QUESTION ⁉️
How would you guys play this?
what do you think about this play?
what companies are most likely to benefit?
the problem is the more known gas like Exxon is too expensive for me (January call is like $700)

Dons hobby : Just my thoughts biz, OXY, SLB are very good companies for the price but BullRider is the oil guy. And as far as now or later, if you do a play or two and make some cash in a week or so, when you do get in whatever you decide on if you made some cash before hand your already ahead of the game. Just my thoughts
