The Porsche IPO/spin off from VW is starting on the 20th of this month (limited offer) and on the 29th (open trading). No need to say that most money will be made between these two days, not directly accessible to retail traders (who will pay for it later 😂). Anyway it will be good, as Porsche is a VERY profitable company and already gets a large part of its revenue from an EV (the beautiful Taycan).
In all this, I wonder how the spin off from WV will affect the VW stock (as a consequence of losing such a valuable asset) and if the Porshe’s IPO could be played in advance by retailers by SHORTING VW … 🤔
