Mary Nicola joined PineBridge Investments in 2020 as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager, Global Multi-Asset. Based in Singapore, Ms. Nicola is responsible for the Global Multi-Asset team's client-facing activities in the Asia Pacific region and contributes to the firm's multi-asset strategy and portfolio implementation functions with a particular focus on Asia-based portfolios. She works across the region's business development, consultant relations, and client service teams to drive investment strategy, asset gathering, and servicing for the firm’s multi-asset capabilities.
Ms. Nicola has over 10 years of experience as an Economist and Macro Strategist and joins PineBridge Investments from Eastspring Investments in Singapore where she was a Global FX and Rates Strategist for the Multi-Asset Solutions team. In this role, she was responsible for generating foreign exchange and fixed income trade ideas for the multi-asset solutions portfolios as well as developing macroeconomic views and themes for portfolio positioning. During her tenure at Eastspring, Ms. Nicola was a strong advocate of ESG and helped to integrate ESG criteria into the firm's multi-asset investment process, including developing a unique scorecard to measure and track the performance improvement of sovereign bonds through an ESG lens. She was also a member of Eastspring's ESG task force and represented the firm at industry conferences on responsible capitalism and ESG integration.
Before this, Ms. Nicola was with Aviva Investors in Singapore as an Investment Strategist and Senior Economist for the Multi-Asset Strategy team, responsible for developing the firm's macroeconomic views on Asia, including Japan. She also spent five years at Standard Chartered Bank in Dubai and Hong Kong, and BNP Paribas in New York as an FX Strategist and Economist, respectively. Before her tenure in the
investments industry, Ms. Nicola spent two years in the U.S. Peace Corps in Bulgaria.

As a TV news journalist with a research background in academia, Olivia analyses key finance topics with industry experts to inform and engage viewers in making better financial decisions. She is the host of moomoosg’s Playing with FIRE, a YouTube show with key industry experts who analyse what’s hot right now in the investment world. She also runs her show, The Futurist, where she geeks out on all topics related to technology, gaming, and robotics. She’s an alumnus of Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore's Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information and also studied at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and the University of Sydney.
