Funds for foreign market stocks; Individual stocks for Sg market.
That's my preference as a Sg-based investor. Seems to me to be the practical thing to do. Invest in individual Sg stocks as familiar with them / easy to get local brokers' articles on them. Less familiar with foreign stocks / no time to read-up, so buy an ETF or other fund.
Favour TECHNOLOGY theme (and also other sectors, for diversification). Such as the ETF on HS tech stocks $Lion-OCBC Sec HSTECH S(HST.SG$ . Has dropped so much, perhaps can start nibbling. So many ETFs to choose from, in so many markets, when you go into MooMoo's Discover > Markets > Explore > click on SG/ US/ HK.
