[SGX AGM rating] My first physical AGM ever... no buffet served 🤣🤣

On 6 Oct, $SGX (S68.SG)$ held its 23rd AGM physically at Raffles City Convention Center. This is the first physical AGM I had attended ever. My expectation was high as I heard some AGM do provide door gifts and buffet.

However, SGX AGM only got free coffee and tea, with milk and sugar at the side. No buffet That was very disappointing, as I was expecting a grand AGM since they haven't held any physically for 2 years already due to covid.

So I drank 3 cups of coffee that day, and went in to the Q&A session to start asking the management questions and listen to them replying to other shareholders' questions.
Quite a number of questions by shareholder are completely irrelevant though, and they take up so much time. That's the sad part, the level of questioning isn't comparable to US AGM.

However there are some great question, and I had gained interesting insights like SGX is the number 1 platform for certain commodities trading like iron ore. Many competitors tried to snatch market shares from SGX by offering "zero-fee" trades, and isn't very successful.
During the session I also gained some interesting insights from the session on topics like options  and lot size and more. Guess I'm coming back next year again to ask them more questions, as well as to dine with my friends working there after the AGM

The next AGM is by $ManulifeReit USD (BTOU.SG)$ and they offered bento box. However, I didn't manage to register fast enough and was placed on the wait list hope I can eat my first free AGM buffet soon
I still have many SG stocks in my personal CDP account that allows me to go for their AGM. Will be rating them too
