GM is doing well, surpassing Toyota Motor Corporation in sales volume in America from July to September
US General Motors (GM)'s US automobile sales volume from July to September (third quarter) increased 24% from the same period last year, surpassing Toyota Motor Corporation for the second consecutive quarter. It was explained in the presentation materials that securing more semiconductors and being able to expand production contributed. There was a difference of about 30,000 units from Toyota in terms of the number of units sold.
The sales volume of Toyota Motor Corporation for the July-September fiscal year was 520,6017 units, down 7.1% from the same period last year. Although sales in September increased by 17.1%, there was still a decline of over 15% from January to September. Sales of the crossover “RAV4” increased by about 51% in September, leading all Toyota brand cars.
