The company with the highest evaluation in SDGs initiatives is 'Toyota Motor', with a significantly higher percentage of 18.3% stating that they are 'seriously working on SDGs', more than 5 points higher than other companies. Conversely, negative responses such as 'not working at all' or 'not working much' were low at 6.0%.
Second place goes to 'Aeon', rising from 5th place the previous year. 'Uniqlo', which was in 2nd place in the previous ranking, dropped to 3rd place but still slightly increased its score from the previous year.
Out of the 210 companies surveyed, including those from the previous year, approximately 75%, or 157 companies, saw an increase in their SDGs evaluation scores from the previous year. Among them, the company with the largest growth from the previous year was 'Yakult' in 11th place, with 'seriously working on SDGs' increasing by over 3 points from 7.4% to 10.9%, leading to a significant increase in its total score from 14.7 points to 19.3 points.
Among the top-ranking companies, 'Panasonic' at 6th, 'McDonald's Japan' at 8th, 'Asahi Beer' at 9th, 'Fujifilm' at 14th, 'Honda' at 18th, and 'Q.P.' at 21st significantly increased their scores.
