“Honda Avatar Robot” (alter ego robot) that enables virtual movement

An alter ego robot that expands its own abilities without being bound by time or space restrictions. It is equipped with a “multi-finger hand” cultivated through robotics research, starting with ASIMO, and has realized a hand that can balance delicacy, such as pinching small objects, and strength, such as opening a hard lid, on par with humans. In addition, it is equipped with Honda's unique “AI-supported remote control” function so that a multi-finger hand can smoothly grip objects and manipulate tools with detailed force control, and we are also working on its evolution.
