[Bank of Mitsubishi UFJ] MUFG will create “raw green electricity”!? ~ Establishing new solar power generation facilities to create renewable energy power ~
Mitsubishi UFJ Bank, Ltd., which is a consolidated subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Ltd. (hereafter, MUFG), recently signed an agreement with NTT Anode Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter NTT-AE) regarding off-site PPA [1] services utilizing newly installed solar power generation facilities. In July 2022, we began introducing electricity derived from renewable energy generated by solar power plants to 40 sites in eastern Japan! Also, in March of the same year, an agreement was signed with Nippon Facility Solution Co., Ltd., which is a wholly owned subsidiary of TEPCO Energy Partner Co., Ltd., regarding an off-site self-consignment energy service [2] utilizing newly built solar power generation facilities as the first initiative in Japan, and it has been in operation since September, and the introduction of renewable energy is being accelerated.
