BIGGEST MISTAKES WHEN TRADING OPTIONS
No strategy No strategy No strategy
You have Fomo
Entry point sucks
You have No exit strategy
Your trade is fighting the market trend
Tou did not buy out enough time 4 ur position to be correct
You over levered
You averaged down too soon & too often
You bought contracts with low volume, so when u buy u paid the ask and when u sell u have to sell at the bid
You dont follow outside data that will directly impact ur trade, for example the 2yr, 10yr interest rates, the USD, etc

102303390 : Hi Matt, when u enter an option trade, do u use limit order or market order?
MarketMatt Channel OP 102303390 : NEVER PAY MARKET. Always know exactly what entry point you’re looking at, I like to underbid, by anywhere from 10 to 20%, so rather than being down 20%, I get the purchase on sale, please confirm you understand what I’m talking about, and on the way out, I like to add 5% to whatever my ask price is going to be
Dont chase high : $Roku Inc (ROKU.US) $Will there be a few chances to rise up 150 next year?
minions365 : Yeah i tried timing and target but sometimes its so fast and i missed that price.
Sometimes i feel it is not yet time to enter and watch for a period and still undecided which is my confidence level and experience not enough.
102303390 MarketMatt Channel OP : So you mean when you want to enter a position at $1, you will place a limit order at $0.80 when the mid price reach $1?
MarketMatt Channel OP 102303390 : Close, it means you’re ready to buy an option, it’s one dollar or $100, instead of paying that you said yourself I will put in for $80 and turn off my phone or computer, and there’s a pretty significant chance you’ll get that purchase at $80 rather than $100 so on the way and you’ll already save 20%
Violets : it's funny you can be good at most of these and bad it just one and it can cost you money
