LINE's cryptocurrency "LINK" is listed on Huobi Global.

LINE Xenesis, a subsidiary of LINE that develops related blockchain technologies, announced that its proprietary cryptocurrency (virtual currency) "LINE" has been listed on Huobi Global, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges.

LINK is a cryptocurrency issued by LINE TECH PLUS PTE, a subsidiary of LINE Xenesis and the native token of the blockchain developed by LINE. LINK was listed on Huobi Global on October 28th.
LINE, which has approximately 100 million users in Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, and Taiwan, has been adding services such as e-commerce, stock trading, banking, payments, manga and music distribution to its messaging app, advancing the super appification of "LINE".
LINE is developing its own blockchain called "LINE Blockchain" and a wallet called "LINE BITMAX Wallet," aiming to expand its cryptocurrency exchange service based on blockchain technology and its NFT (non-fungible token) trading service.
Since LINK has been circulating in the market since 2018, LINE has been expanding the use cases of LINK by conducting experimental functions that allow domestic users to use LINE Pay for payments. The number of LINK holders in Japan has increased by 46% compared to 2021.
At Huobi Global, which handles over 500 types of cryptocurrencies, trading of LINK with Bitcoin (BTC) and LINK with Tether (a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar = USDT) is now possible. With this listing, LINK can be traded on six exchanges including LINE's domestic trading service "LINE BITMAX", BITFRONT, Bithumb, MEXC Global, and Gate.io.
LINE plans to list LINK on other exchanges in the future to expand the liquidity of the cryptocurrency. Currently, in Japan, LINK can only be traded on LINE BITMAX.
