LINE's crypto asset “LINK” listed on Huobi Global

LINE Xenesis, which develops blockchain-related technology under the umbrella of LINE, announced that its own crypto asset (virtual currency) “LINE” has been listed on the world's leading crypto asset exchange Huobi Global (Huobi Global).

LINK is a cryptographic asset issued by LINE TECH PLUS PTE, a subsidiary of LINE Xenesis, and is a blockchain native token developed by LINE. LINK was listed on Huobi Global on October 28.
LINE, which has approximately 17600 users in Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, and Taiwan, has so far added services such as e-commerce, stock trading, banking, payment, and manga/music distribution, centering on messaging applications, and has promoted the transformation of “LINE” into a super application.
We have developed “LINE Blockchain,” which is a unique blockchain, and the wallet “LINE BITMAX Wallet,” and are planning to expand crypto asset transaction services using blockchain as the basic technology and the NFT (non-fungible token) transaction service business.
Since 2018, when LINK was distributed to the market, LINE has expanded the use cases of LINK by testing functions that can be used for “LINE Pay” payments for domestic users. It is said that the number of LINK owners in Japan has increased 46% compared to 2021.
At Huobi Global, which handles over 500 types of crypto assets, it is possible to trade LINK and Bitcoin (BTC), and LINK and Tether (stablecoin linked to the US dollar = USDT). With this listing, LINK can now be traded on 6 exchanges including BITFRONT, Bithumb, MEXC Global, and Gate.io in addition to LINE's domestic transaction service “LINE BITMAX.”
LINE will also list LINK on other exchanges in the future to expand the liquidity of the same crypto asset. Currently, LINK can only be traded on LINE BITMAX in Japan.
