When I first start to invest, I bought a stock on a “hot stock tip”. I risked money I could not afford to lose. I had no buy or sell discipline – no investment strategy. I bought a story rather than business fundamentals. I had no risk management plan to control losses. I put money at risk without an exit strategy in place first. And I made a loss from this investment.
