GM Suspends Advertising On Twitter — At Least Temporarily

Most users expect editorial changes to reflect Musk’s previous pledges to reduce content moderation in what he has described as actions to promote free speech.

“We are engaging with Twitter to understand the direction of the platform under their new ownership,” the GM statement read, as revealed on CNBC. “As is the normal course of business with a significant change in a media platform, we have temporarily paused our paid advertising.”
Ford is “not currently advertising on Twitter,” said spokesperson Said Deep. “We will continue to evaluate the direction of the platform under the new ownership.”
Will Musk's takeover influence other electric cars to reduce their advertising on Twitter?
