Growth of daily active users on$Twitter (Delisted) (TWTR.US)$hit "all-time highs" and crossed 250 million during the first full week of Elon Musk owning the platform, according to an internal document obtained by The Verge.
Twitter's monetizable daily user (mDAU) growth has accelerated to more than 20 percent, while "Twitter's largest market, the US, is growing even more quickly," The Verge reports, citing the internal document that was distributed to the sales team for conversations with advertisers who are wary about their presence on the platform.

The metric may dispel concerns of a mass exodus from the platform. According to the last earnings report before Musk's takeover, Twitter had 237.8 million mDAUs at the end of the second quarter.
While Elon Musk focuses on Twitter, Tesla's shares have tumbled to their lowest level in 17 months.
$Tesla (TSLA.US)$stock skidded 5% Monday, hitting a new 52-week low and reaching its lowest level since June 2021.
It erased all of its gains from the past 17 months as investors continue to sell off the stock in the wake of CEO Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter.
Ever since Musk stated his intention to buy the social media platform, Tesla investors have worried about the billionaire spreading himself too thin among several high-profile ventures.
Mooers, are you worried about Musk's ability to oversee the rest of his empire? Do you want him to focus on Tesla? Would you blame Twitter for Tesla stock's decline?
