After activated SmartSave, any uninvested cash in Universal Account will be automatically subscribed to Cash Plus to earn potential daily returns, and cash available for trading and Cash Plus can be redeemed to cover currency drift and avoid interest.
While the money market funds in Cash Plus are considered relatively safe, there is always the possibility of a floating return on certain days. In spite of that, these funds have never had a negative monthly return so it is considered stable.
