What I did to “reserve” cash in Universal Account and not get stuck in Fullerton SGD Cash Fund.
I always get notice that at 8:30am Universal Account will buy cash fund and I can “reserve fund” not to buy (for example use “reserved fund” to buy another stock based on regular saving plan). I cannot find a “reserve fund” button. I later figured out have to use “REDEEM” in order to get the “reserve fund” 2 days later. I can now do currency exchange and buy the ETF I wanted.
Let me know if there is another easier way.

TLim77 : I tried before and the RSP failed with an insufficient fund error. I think may need to have funds under cash withdrawable too.
Watch and swing OP TLim77 : Yes. I tried. RSP will fail unless first there is sufficient amount in the “CASH” (invest).
TLim77 : I had funds under "Cash" but not "Cash Withdrawable". It still failed.

TLim77 Watch and swing OP : No worries. I was also surprised when it failed since we can use the funds to buy immediately after redemption. Didn't work for RSP though.

Not really sure myself since i never activate smartsave, but I think the "reserve" should be under the "management"? Just to enter the amount to be reserved.
Yar, currency is a pity... "they" are unable to do that in the active MMF for now.
The few choice is that maybe u can auto invest in the currency MMF u wanted/planning to buy that currency ETF... but the exchange rate may not be favourable to u during that time, just for the MMF
USD drop quite a lot now compared to the past few days

Tap Funds > Cash Plus > Manage SmartSave.
Yar, the "reserve" should be available to only those funds that can be mobilised (can be withdraw). Redeem = T+2 is because they need time to do the procedures to sell ur MMF amount positions for the redeemed sum, I guess
That's why I never activate smartsave as it's can be quite complicated & troublesome if u never/forgotten to set all those settings to ur preferences as it always auto invest daily = still preferred to control my funds by myself (manually).
