How is the world preparing for recession? If, there is going to be one.

Yesterday saw a news clip where Jeff Bezos is asking people not to buy costly items to prepare for recession. I am in India, things don't look that bad here. I have kept about 25% of my equity out of stocks and kept as preparation. Wondering if i should increase it upto 50%. Also some of you may not know, our banks usually give 3% interest on any bank deposits annually So keeping it out isn't that bad. $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$ $Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC.US)$ $Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI.US)$ $ProShares UltraPro Short QQQ ETF (SQQQ.US)$ $ProShares UltraPro QQQ ETF (TQQQ.US)$

  • razo2 : it will be a recession that is long over due. we are at stagflation now. next recession. in such situation cash will be good to have to buy the dip, or short the market when something big happens. as unemployment will rise the financial side will feel the heat. bitcoin created a huge hole in people wallets and I don't think is a small problem.

  • intuitive Jackal_354 : recession is a lie they sell you to control with fear, I prepare for the big lie by buying the dips and letting big money know how much I detest them for being cowards. my grandpa always said you can't trust bankers and lawyers.
