Q3 results is actually past performance of the company. One should follow closely the future guidance by the C suite during the earnings calls. That is more important to gauge future performance and price movement of the company.
Nevertheless, macroeconomy plays a big part on predicting the future. Value investors may start cherry picking good value stocks to build long term portfolio.
