. This is one of the factors that lead to a bad economy... The stock market supposed to adjust to the macro factors. Because, u can't expect the economy to has no changes right
Generally, in the long-term, we should see an uptrend economy (so does the stock market) as we are not going back to the primitive era
However in the present economy, it seems more like a downtrend instead...
Yar, I guess mean reversion should be working but not happening now as the curremt market is too volatile.

cola1010 : Not really, mean reversion only works in some markets but not all. Although it is an important market concept to understand, it does not guarantee profitable trading. While prices do tend to return to the mean over time, we have no idea when this will occur?
The reversion approach is used by many investors to determine when to buy and sell. However, prices may deviate from the mean for a longer period of time than expected. In general, mean reversion is high probability, low reward and high risk.

meruson : every sector is cyclical, sometimes you meet with a super cycle and you think it is never going to stop tanking. this only applies to profitable stocks with good fundamentals. bon courage.
