Which type of financial product generally carries lesser risk?
This year, the turbulent global market is on "hard mode" for investors. Many investors, therefore, turned to conservative investments, such as bank wealth management products, MMFs, and other relatively low-risk products.
But are there any risk-free financial products?
The truth is that risk exists in every type of financial product. Therefore, investors should understand their risk tolerance and risk appetite to avoid massive losses.

GOGO Power Rangers : I think it's Fulton Singapore Money Market Fund A
$Fullerton SGD Cash Fund (SG9999005961.MF)$
101737651 : I have invested in SSB , Equity which I make some lost from bank and fixed deposit due to high interest rate and insurance endowment 2 years plan with fixed interest rate but rather regret after buying insurance plan and lock for 2 years due to more higher interest rate after that.
weih9nglee : Currently I put
(Idle money in the SRS pool) are invested in SSB or pumping 6 months Tbill
(Idle money) are mostly placed in Moo Money Market Fund
Leave half of the position in the fund stock market and execute half of the regular savings plan to continue buying
At least until the end of the Fed austerity cycle can be seen, and think about next year again next year
ambitious Gerbil_536 : All the rage now is fixed deposit, singapore saving bonds, T-bills. To be getting ~4% annual return from any of these instruments is amazing. Fed’s direction is to continue raising interest rate but doubt it can go any further.
102678535 : Hi Moo Moo community, when market fluctuates due to global world news, it is time to go all out to diversify your portfolio. When market panicky, price will be volatile and if you do your analysis well, you can enter to buy the blue chips and big giants now. As for comservative investors, can consider Government bonds, treasury bills and fixed deposits with banks.

JCEin : Conservative investment product with respectable level of yields / dividends for me would be like 3M T-bills , SGS bonds , CPF-SA. Some brokerages also have “ cash management / auto sweep accounts “ with interest rates / yields better than banks savings accounts and would be suitable for people who ddon't want to take higher risks while wanting to holding some cash that can be deployed very quickly when opportunities arises .
ZnWC : Which type of financial product generally carries lesser risk?
1) Will you adopt conservative investment strategies when the market fluctuates?
I prefer diversification in term of risk:
10% very high risk (long term)
20% moderate risk (mid term)
80% low risk and stable
Weightage maybe adjusted depending on market condition.
2) How do you identify relatively low-risk financial products? What indicators do you usually use?
1. For fund, I look for 7-d positive yield
$CSOP USD Money Market Fund (SGXZ96797238.MF)$
$Fullerton SGD Cash Fund (SG9999005961.MF)$
2. Positive return government bonds
(may have holding period of 6 months):
SSB Singapore Saving Bond
SGS Singapore Government Securities
T-bill Treasury bill

3) What are your favorite products at this stage? (Not limited to funds, bonds, insurance ......) How about the returns? Have they met your expectations?
Expected return: 3-4% 7-d yield
Cash plus fund or MMF especially those that can use Moomoo's cash coupon to earn extra income and relatively short lock up period. Some funds may need T+5 days to redeem.
Funds with 7-d positive return other than cash plus:
$BNP Paribas USD Money Market (LU0012186622.MF)$
$FTGF Western Asset US Government Liquidity Fund (IE00B19Z6R17.MF)$
I don't like long lock up period as I may need cash to buy shares/options when the market rally.
