$Tesla (TSLA.US)$is poised to deliver its first all-electric semitrailer truck Thursday. Tesla didn't respond to a request for comment on issues including the number of trucks it plans to deliver to PepsiCo and their price tag. PepsiCo declined to comment on those topics. The company has said the trucks would support plants in Sacramento and Modesto, Calif.A typical diesel-powered semitrailer truck costs around $120,000 in the U.S,according to consulting firm Roland Berger. Thursday's event comes as Tesla pushes to deliver as many vehicles as possible in the final weeks of the year. The company cut its annual growth expectations this fall, saying it expects to finish the year just shy of its 2022 target of boosting vehicle deliveries by 50%.

Most of the investors didn’t know that the 500 miles range were on a SINGLE charge, nor could imagine a 1000kwh charging speed, nor that the Cybertruck going in production in 2023 will have the same charging system allowing most charge in 5-10 minutes, 500 miles of range AND, I would add, between 1200 and 1500 hp for the quad motor model.
