$Tesla (TSLA.US)$ seems to be following that pitchfork uptrend. Once we break 198.92 we could retest 204.18. Macd on the 1hr is starting to show some buying pressure - as always, we need volume.

$AMC Entertainment (AMC.US)$ I’m not selling until i like what i see in my bank account. Halting it just delays the inevitable. Algo machines are just that. Machines. And they break. We’ll be waiting.
@Carlosoo
Apple shares reached an all-time high in January 2022, coming off a stellar year for the tech industry in which the COVID-19 pandemic led homebound consumers to invest heavily in home office and entertainment devices.

Macd is showing that momentum is picking up. Now are we going to have enough volume to push SPY one more time to retest 410? that previous trendline was resistance and now it may be acting as support.

The rise in China's capital stock market is so crazy that it will eventually return this month, not unblocking China, just thinking that the Chinese economy will rise right away, how will it go up and how will it eventually come dwon.

All those who are talking bad about this may be right long term, but for today if this reversal plays out with the 15m closing at least above .214 are going to be holding the L.

@alan小韭菜
84 to 96 is in the intensive trading range in the past, so it is estimated that the ink will last a long time here. It is estimated that it will stay in this range in December.
@Sonic The HEDGED
ALIBABA ADR market close. Up down Up down but as long as the highs is getting higher it's an uptrend. The company's record high is 300+ but it didn't get there overnight. UPTREND. YEARS.

"How should we think about investing in alternatives?"
lastnite24 : I would treat alternatives the same as I have been told about penny stocks. An old time investor told me the rule about risky investments is "you can allocate 10% of your portfolio to risky investments, but never more than that". Remember on penny stocks and speculative investments you can lose 100% of your investment (it can happen with anything, technically it's just more likely on riskier assests).
I would know I have lost 100% on a specific speculative investment.
penny stocks can run in 100s of percents. but they also can lose exactly the same. a small percentage of your portfolio can welcome speculative investment. but at a certain point you should cash out.
......I have a friend who was up 5000% and held too long and lost money. So beware
RDK79 : Congrats Syuee!
HopeAlways : Investing in alternatives will be any investment that does not trade in the stock or bond markets. Many types of alternative investments are only available to investors with high net worth or high income. Investing in alternative assets such as real estate often requires a lot of capital and the investments can be illiquid, so they are not easily bought or sold. Owning alternative assets is best suited for investors whose portfolios are already diversified.

Syuee : The basic motive behind taking exposure to “ Investing in Alternatives " is diversification.

As the famous saying reads “ Do not put all the eggs in one basket ".
Alternative Investments are one of the best options to diversify exposure and thereby, balance the risk.
Generally speaking, Real Estate is one of the best investments and a safer alternative investment option.
It would be a rare find for a millionaire or billionaire not to have a real estate portfolio.
History speaks for itself.
It is almost similar of doing what Warren Buffett does, but in property aspect - looking at fundamentals and taking advantage of irrational sentiment.
So, the best time to buy property is when fundamentals are sound, yet no one wants to buy, simply because everyone else isn’t buying …
Investing in real estate for the short-term, you could be taking larger risk and there could be a loss.
Long-term investors don’t have to worry nearly so much about timing the property market.
I would say that if you are truly a long-term investor, there is not a bad time to buy real estate.
Find a property that is a good value, or in an upcoming popular location. Hold it long-term. Collect rents. Pay off the mortgage, if any. Let it appreciate.
You’re are likely going to do very well.
Formulate a plan. Do your due diligence. And always, ALWAYS know your numbers !!

HopeAlways Syuee : As for which alternative investment types to choose, investors can consider their appetite for risk, their investing time horizon, and how much time they have to devote to investing.
Syuee HopeAlways : Alternative investments can be a great fit for any investor who wants to further diversify their portfolio.

Depending on one’s stage of life and level of interest in actively managing their investments, different alternative investing strategies may be more appealing.
