It is so confusing, according to moomoo Corporate Notice, all Long and Short need to sell/close by 8 Dec. If we choice to sell after 8 Dec, we are responsible for coordinating title ownership to new owner(s). Anyone know how to do title ownership to new owner(s)?
Longholders:Should your account be the owner of record pastDecember 8, 2022, you will own shares of Next Bridge Hydrocarbons, Inc. shares that are non-transferrable and non-tradable. The only way to avoid this is to sell MMTLP any time prior to market close onDecember 8, 2022.
If shares of Meta Materials are sold afterDecember 8, 2022but prior to the cancellation date, sellers will be responsible for coordinating title ownership to new owner(s).

This is their subtle but not so subtle way of saying you are forced to sell your mmtlp by 8dec. Otherwise you are forced to hold it through to receive Next Bridge shares.

I mean come on… nobody is being forced. Simple question do you want NBH shares yes or no? If yes, just keep holding no action on your part. If no, then just sell. Why is it so confusing???

Lol u mean from Mr T? Bird lady? Queens? U follow them? Anyway yes instead of a short squeeze, iit's everyone squeeze. Everyone who ddoesn't want to move to the next stage has to sell.

It's forced because MMTLP still technically has 2 more trading days before the record date (12Dec) and requiring to hold through till 14Dec to acquire Next Bridge shares.
But the latest notice states that if we hold past 8Dec, we will acquire next bridge shares. That's what…T+4? And it seems that the upstream custodian of Moomoo (IB) is deliberately creating this restriction (IB users got the exact same notice yest)
Some of us are definitely waiting for better price action on the 9th and 12th before we sell. So yes. If the official record date is 12th. And spin-off 14th. I technically sshouldn't be forced to sell on the 8th if i do not want Next Bridge shares.
