Tesla: the sequel to Apple

The board asked Elon Musk to step down from his own company? While I would hate to see him go, it might be the best thing he can do right now.
So how is this a sequel to Apple? Before Steve Jobs passed away, he was a very prominent figure head of the company. The stock took a small dip but nothing significant. it wasn't until the next year that the company really took off.
Again how does this relate to Tesla? If Elon steps down we can expect to see a dip, maybe even a small jump. The important thing is that we hold our shares and see what the company does under different leadership.
Panic selling now will only hurt the other share holders and cause you to regret selling a year from now.
