AU Morning Wrap: ASX Drops, Tech Stocks Take the Brunt
Wall Street Summary
Ongoing concerns about interest rates and signs of weak demand from memory chip maker Micron Technology triggered a bout of Wall Street selling on Thursday. The slide reversed gains seen the previous day and renewed downward momentum that has marked the past couple
of weeks.

AU Market Watch
The $S&P/ASX 200 (.XJO.AU)$ has opened 0.88 per cent lower in the final session before Christmas, with rate sensitive tech stocks the hardest-hit.
Retail Food Group skyrocketed 16 per cent. It settled legal proceedings for misleading representations with the ACCC, agreeing to pay $10 million.
Warrego Energy tumbled 5.6 per cent. Hancock Energy made its all cash offer of 28¢ for Warrego unconditional.
