As Tesla continues to fall, I have been consistently adding to my position. Without realizing it, my position has increased to 5%, with an average holding cost of around $125. I think $125 for Tesla is reasonable, and if it falls further, I will continue to add to lower my cost. I don't think Tesla will ultimately have a single-digit P/E ratio like other automakers. As a leader in electric vehicles, it is not an exaggeration to say that it will capture more than 10% market share in the entire auto industry. Anyway, I have already ordered a Cybertruck, just don't know when production will start.![]()
Tesla may continue to decline, so it's important not to have a heavy position. If you want to buy the dip, consider buying 1% of your position each time, with a total position limit of, for example, 10%. This way, the burden won't be too heavy.
I do not recommend shorting Tesla at this time. If you already have a short position, closely monitor it and take profits when you see an opportunity. Things tend to revert to the mean, so when it's close enough, that's good enough.
QQQ is also approaching a support level, and shorting friends can consider locking in some profits. This time I didn't go short on SQQQ, but instead went long on SOXS, FNGD, SARK, and SDOW. The Dow really is stubborn, but sector rotation can happen at any time. If institutions want to bottom out on the Nasdaq, they have to sell the Dow. So, I think there is a high risk of going long on the Dow, DIA, or UDOW in the near future.
I have always been bullish on TLT, which has fallen to my expected price of 100. Let's see if it will drop further, after all, Japan's hawkish turn is bearish. I have reduced some protective positions in TTT and still hold some protection. But I don't think TLT will hit new lows, hopefully I won't be proven wrong.
