How do you think utility stocks will do this year? Should I just take the L?
I realise too late I've invested way toouch I to utilities so with them taking such a dive I have lost quite a bit. Should I just take the L and sell everything or are they likely to go up, or at least be not in the worst spot ever?$# $Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC.US)$ $SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY.US)$

Justin Zacks : The S&P 500 utilities sector is the second-best performing sector in the index next to the energy sector. Utilities have tended to outperform the overall market during periods on economic uncertainty. They are often considered defensive steady producers than can pass costs along to consumers during periods of high inflation.
How are the fundamentals of the companies you have invested in? What dividend rates do you expect from your stocks? Would the dividend offset some of your losses?
