I've been watching the semiconductor industry since 2020, but missed both the boom and the bust. In 2020, companies like Intel $Intel (INTC.US)$ looked exceptionally cheap, but I hated the performance of their chips. Advanced Micro Devices $Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$ , on the other hand, was seen as a growth machine, but turned out to be more of a bubble.
