GT1982 : Good news in my opinion due to several reasons.

1) If the CCP sits on the board it should make getting official approval for future plans easier for Alibaba.

2) The market hates uncertainty. This taking of golden shares could signal CCP loosening their actions against Alibaba which would herald a period of stability ahead.
