Jack Ma Reportedly Meets Dhanin Chearavanont in HK; Thai Richest Man's CT ENTERPRISE Once Leaps Almost 50%

$CT ENTERPRISE (03839.HK)$ further extended its upward momentum. After rocketing by about 2.5x yesterday, the stock opened high by 13% today (1 February) and has once stretched its upswing to more than 49% to peak at $6.98, a new high in over seven years. It last stood at $6.63, up 41.7%, on a volume of 8.9265 million shares, involving $56.6876 million. Soopakij Chearavanont, the eldest son of Dhanin Chearavanont, the wealthiest man in Thailand, is the Chairman of CT ENTERPRISE.

BABA's founder Jack Ma had earlier met with Dhanin Chearavanont, Thailand's richest man and senior chairman of Charoen Pokphand Group, Chearavanont's three sons, and Suphachai Chearavanont, CEO of Charoen Pokphand Group, in Hong Kong during the Chinese New Year holidays, according to a previous media report.

Jack Ma frequently met with people from the financial circles in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia this month, report said. Meanwhile, the outsiders gauged that Dhanin Chearavanont meeting with Jack Ma in Hong Kong this time may link to investment collaboration with Ma.
