ChatGPT- like AI will destroy Google's business in 2 years
Gmail creator thinks Google's business will last a maximum of 2 years due to competition from ChatGPT- like AI.
Technology from AI can eliminate the need for search engine results pages, which is where Google makes most of its money from advertisements. In 2021, the company raked in over USD250 b in revenue, its best- ever income in its nearly 25-year history.
However, with ChatGPT, Google could quickly be pushed into irrelevancy as users throng for more simplistic answers than indexed pages.
Figures 1 and 2 compare the quality of the answers with the ChatGPT giving a much better answer with explanation.
