Eddie Yue Foresees HK Econ to Rebound This Yr, But with Lingering Uncertainties
Hong Kong's economy is anticipated to hail a rebound this year, but the overall outlook remains uncertain, said Eddie Yue, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
The reclining trend of inflation remains uncertain and the interest rate outlook likewise remains somewhat clouded, Yue elaborated. However, he stressed that Hong Kong's robust financial system should be able to remain stable even amid such headwinds.
