BUY the bears!

how do you grow the courage to invest in a bear market?

if you have the "conviction" that a company is doing well (business is growing, customers are growing, earnings are growing), then the bear market is a good time to buy more shares of the company at a cheaper price.

this is what happens when the potato chips you like goes on sale at the supermarket. whether they have excess inventory and are nearing expiry or they are running a promotion does not bother you, you just load them up in your trolleys/baskets, bring them to the cashiers and carry them home~!

even if you have not tried them before, you may still get 1 or 2 packets at the sale to check out if they are nice, and come back for more if you like them.. or you'll have to wait till the next time they go on sale..

so it is important to develop your own "conviction" about the company... and let these tasty potato chips linger in your memories, so you will know what to do at the next sale (read: bear) event..
