b34r : Typically the bank cycles are 1-2 years long. If you pull back to the 5 or 10 year chart, you can see the banks are at a high now. If the US recession does happen, DBS would probably drop into the mid-20s this year or next. Of course, the banks could pull off record profits and shoot up another 50% from here.
minions365 b34r : I think its going back down to 28 or lower with the recession in US triggering a global economy recession and Singapore as well. Also their inflation is still high and need to continue with the rate hike of Interest rate. With high interest rate, monetary fiscal tightening, stocks price and business profit will go down with less demand unless the business is very strong to continue create high demand like apple. Even so, they will fall with market sentiments. You know US is crazy market that fluctuate easily.
