Unity Technologies - Doesn't Look Good?

Here are some findings, ranging from good to bad I got from their Q4'23 shareholder letter.

After consecutive 2 disappointing quarters, Q4'23's topline showed a surge to USD 451 million. A 43% growth, even though YoY lets Unity round up its FY 2022 top line to USD 1.391 billion.

Another reassurance is that even from non-GAAP measures, Unity booked an operational profit for Q4'22.

To provide some leeway, Unity's Grow solution is impacted by portfolio and execution gaps for FY'2022. The latest Q4'22 growth of 51%, should be a yardstick for investors to gauge for the upcoming quater.

Again, not to penalize Unity, but looking back at the average price of the share buyback, retained earnings of shareholders are now hanging at a loss since the stock prices of Unity are now below $30 per share.
