At this very moment, many NASDAQ-listed companies such as Microsoft ($Microsoft (MSFT.US)$), Apple ($Apple (AAPL.US)$), Google ($Alphabet-A (GOOGL.US)$,$Alphabet-C (GOOG.US)$), Amazon ($Amazon (AMZN.US)$) and IBM ($IBM Corp (IBM.US)$) are devoting more and more resources into developing and enhancing AI (Artificial Intelligence) technologies such as ChatGPT to help their customers. For example, Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri are AI assistant that can help to answer customer questions and perform tasks. Also, Starbucks ($Starbucks (SBUX.US)$) is using AI technologies to increase customer engagement while Uber ($Uber Technologies (UBER.US)$) is using the technology to provide personalized ridesharing assistance to their customers.
Hmm... I wonder how much moolah do Mooers invest in AI technology companies
Besides AI chatbots and semiconductor companies, I am also watching these companies, such as Zebra Technologies ($Zebra Technologies (ZBRA.US)$), UiPath ($UiPath (PATH.US)$), Rockwell Automation ($Rockwell Automation (ROK.US)$), Teradyne ($Teradyne (TER.US)$), Intuitive Surgical ($Intuitive Surgical (ISRG.US)$) and many others that focus in Robotics. As of now, robots are used in many industries to perform various tasks, from reforest deserts (*1, *2) to caring for the sick and elderly (*3). Also, don't forget that robots such as NASA's Mars Exploration Rovers, Spirit and Opportunity are sent to Mars for scientific research (*4).
Hopefully in the near future, companies can create an AI robot that is able to replicate human consciousness and memories, just like what happen in the recent Netflix ($Netflix (NFLX.US)$) movie: Jung E.
