A new month, a new direction?
$Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ.US)$ Closing the month with that candle is UGLY, but that doesn't necessarily mean we go down right away.

PMI data is released an hour before open. *****correction, news is released half an hour after open***** This will determine direction. iam not even going to guess on a reading. Never underestimate the governments ability to LIE. They can release whatever nonsense they want to solicit the response they want.
12225 is the bull line. If the market can break it and hold, we should be heading up.
11940 is the bear line, break, and close below it should signal more downside.
The market is overwhelmingly bearish, I don't like that, as the market tends to do whatever makes it the most money. In this case, that would be bullish.
$Alibaba(BABA.US)$ Need to break 95.4 and hold to be bullish. Let's see if this fish can stop floundering.

Again to reiterate from yesterday
I DO NOT TRUST THIS MARKET OR ANY CURRENT SIGNALS IT GIVES!!! it is UGLY. it wants to go down, but there are too many puts, so the downside is limited. It needs to go up for energy down but can't find enough buyers. I expect it to swing wildly to garner momentum one direction or the other.

I agree with you that the Govt is capable of manipulating the data to elicit whatever market response they desire. Retail investors need to tread with great caution, as the market remains highly unpredictable at times.
If it is possible where you live, try to get more sunshine outdoors to speed up the bone recovery in your thumb by increasing natural vitamin D synthesis in your skin.
