Oxidixs : Not only I spend more on Food, I also pay more on my SQ flights. Same route different fare. Need C6L to subsidise my fare.

PhotoSynth : Personally. I think your top number is low. I’ve experienced at least a 25% increase in the cost of food over the last 4-6 months. 15% world be a blessing. I’d love to know whose only experiencing those lower numbers and whether they’re truly aware of just how much more they’re spending. I am acutely aware and the number is staggering. CPI should not in the current state of the economy neglect to put adequate weight on the bias that food has on the true indexing of inflation.
