Brokers Predict TENCENT 2022 Non-IFRS NP to Slide Over 6%; Focus on Biz Recovery
TENCENT will report its 2022 financial results on 22 March (Wednesday).
According to the forecasts of 20 brokers, the non-IFRS net profit of TENCENT in 2022 will range between RMB109.672 billion and RMB122.878 billion, representing a YoY slide of 0.7-11.4%, compared to that of RMB123.788 billion in 2021. The median was estimated to be RMB115.891 billion, down 6.4% YoY.
The market will likely focus on the management's views on this year's recovery outlook, progress on cost optimization as well as the accelerating monetization of Video Accounts and SAAS business.
Share buyback guidance will likewise be a prime focus for investors.
