They already started some buyback in Israel exchange. They need to get approval in this year shareholder meeting to raise the buy back cap to 10%. However, I think they keeping the cash ready for further investment is a good idea. This year, ZIM will slump close to no profit while their OPC energy company is making profits. Kenon needs to invest in a new direction to replace the income from ZIM. They are also selling their 12% ownership in a Chinese car manufacturer, which will boost their cash reserve. I think the US economy is at a very weak point right now, wherein Kenon can leverage to get good opportunities. Anyways, this company is doing great. They got the full ZIM's meteoric rise in earning (which should be 100%-200% return), and they have turned around/restructuring and making deals to turn OPC to profitable. I trust them to put their cash into good use.
TMW1986 : Where is the share buyback? Cash rich and not buying back…
Wacho-el-Wero OP TMW1986 : What do you mean? Where did you get such read?
