Shareholder mentality

The biggest reason why would we buy a stock?
I think I would buy a company's stock because of course it's profitable.
Do you consider yourself a shareholder when making investment decisions?
Although good companies will continue to increase their value, for long-term investments, I think using the shareholder mentality to trade would benefit us, just like stock god Buffett.
But for me now, I'm more concerned about short-term investment returns. I'm just a retail investor. Since I have limited capital, I'm more concerned about how to increase my capital, so for me personally, I probably don't have a shareholder mentality when trading stocks.
If I trade with a shareholder mentality, that means I will invest in this stock for a long time, then I have to lock my capital into this stock. If I want to do other transactions then I can only keep investing money, which doesn't seem like a good choice for me with limited funds.
