Institutional Investor Jobs
I'm reading a book called “100 Year History of Japanese Stock Investment Seen by a Legendary Fund Manager” by Yamashita Yuji.
As part of the Rakuten Securities service that has been established, I can read it for free on Rakuten Kobo.
Among them, I became interested in the memoirs written in the book.
In other words, it is described that when I joined Fidelity Securities, 50 billion yen was allocated even though it was immediately after joining the company, and I was instructed to manage it and produce results.
From the perspective of an individual like me who has never been involved in investing as a main business, I haven't been able to imagine what kind of work institutional investors do until now.
It was in the past (Showa era), and that may not be the case now, but I felt that the amount that institutional investors were armed with from the beginning was still an order of magnitude different.
At the same time, it may not be easy to imitate, but aren't there places where you can steal something? I also think so.
I keep reading, thinking that imitation is also a means.
After all, it's interesting to know history.
